The Wisconsin Turfgrass Association (WTA) represents turfgrass management professionals who have a keen interest understanding the important roll turfgrass plays in the quality of everyone’s lives throughout Wisconsin.\u00a0 Research initiatives include funding student education through four Distinguished Graduate Fellowship endowments and the Sustainability fund, in addition to providing startup funds to hire new turfgrass professors at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.\u00a0 We also provide needed funding for the O.J. Noer Turfgrass Research and Education Facility in Verona, Wisconsin.\u00a0 Education is provided through conducting the annual Summer Field Day and the Winter Research Day Conference\/Webinar.\u00a0 We also serve as the liaison and industry representative for all turfgrass management professions in Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin – Madison and the public.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
